Ready to Share the Gospel Online And Reach Millions for Jesus?
From Scrolling to Saving: Your Guide to Preaching the Gospel on Social Media
Yes, I want to see if I qualify to be one of the 12 people you are going to mentor. Help me harness my God-given gifts, amplify my influence, and create income that aligns with my purpose.
If you’ve ever felt that nudge to share your faith online but didn’t know where to start, I've got great news for you.
Many of us feel the call, but instead of stepping into that role, we often hold back, believing we don’t have enough—enough resources, skills, or the right opportunities. But let me share something that might change your perspective: no matter what you have, you have more than enough with God. He can take your ‘not enough’ and make it ‘more than enough.’
To illustrate this, let’s look at the story of the loaves and fishes. A large crowd of over 5,000 people had gathered to hear Jesus teach, and as the day went on, they grew hungry. The disciples were overwhelmed by the size of the need—they saw the lack of food and felt it was impossible to meet everyone's needs with the resources at hand.
But then, a young boy stepped forward with a small offering: five loaves of bread and two fish. It seemed insignificant, a mere drop in the bucket. Yet, when Jesus took the boy’s small gift, blessed it, and began to distribute it, something miraculous happened—the food multiplied. Not only was there enough to feed everyone, but there were also twelve baskets of leftovers.
Key Lessons from the Loaves and Fishes
Offer What You Have, No Matter How Small:
The boy didn’t wait until he had enough to feed thousands; he offered what he had, even though it seemed like almost nothing. Your starting point may feel small—maybe you’re worried that your skills, resources, or audience aren’t enough. But just like the boy’s offering, what you have in your hands right now is enough when you bring it forward. It’s not about having everything perfect; it’s about showing up and offering what you can. God can multiply your small beginnings into something far greater than you imagine.
Step Forward Despite the Fear:
The disciples saw the problem and hesitated, but the boy stepped forward with what he had, despite how inadequate it seemed. It’s natural to feel fear, doubt, or insecurity, especially when trying something new. But stepping forward is what activates the potential for something bigger. Don’t wait for your fear to disappear; move forward in spite of it. Your willingness to act, even when you’re unsure, can set the stage for your own version of a miracle.
God’s Multiplication Requires Your Action:
The miracle didn’t start until the boy released what he had. God’s multiplication starts with your action. It’s easy to hold back, waiting for more clarity, more resources, or a better time. But God’s provision and blessing often come as a response to our faith in action. When you put in the effort, show up consistently, and take the first step—even with doubts swirling—you open the door for God to multiply your efforts into something extraordinary.
This principle isn’t just something that happened thousands of years ago; it’s alive and relevant today. It played out in our own lives just a couple of years ago. My wife, Niki, was in a season of feeling overwhelmed. We had just welcomed our baby boy, and with our other kids to care for, she found herself struggling to find time for anything beyond the immediate needs of our family. She wanted to serve and make an impact, but traditional ministry opportunities seemed out of reach.
One day, we were talking, and I asked her, “What do you have in your hands right now? What can you do with the time you have?” At first, she felt like she didn’t have much to offer. But then she realized she had her phone, an Instagram account, and a heart for prayer.
I challenged her: "Why not take a few minutes each day to record and post a daily prayer on your social media?" Niki isn’t one to seek the spotlight, she’s not tech-savvy, and being on camera made her uncomfortable. But she decided to give it a try.
At first, it seemed like nothing was happening. But then, one morning, she woke up to an incredible surprise—one of her videos had gone viral! In just a few days, she gained 10,000 new followers. As she continued to post daily prayers, her following grew to over 150,000. Platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok started paying her for the content she was creating.
What Niki thought was a small, almost insignificant effort turned into a powerful ministry tool, worldwide impact, and a source of income. Her "not enough" became "more than enough" when she took the step to use what she already had. Just like the boy with the loaves and fishes, Niki offered what she had, and God multiplied it.
Like Niki, I’ve experienced firsthand the power of starting small and trusting God to do the multiplying. When I started my Reelpreneur journey, I was amazed at how quickly things could grow. Within 18 months, I had over a million followers, and our reach extended to millions of people each month. But it wasn’t just about the numbers; it was about the lives impacted and the doors that opened as a result.
Now, I’m on a mission to help others do the same. Just like I asked Niki, I want to ask you: What social media accounts do you have in your hands? What content can you create or curate? Make no mistake, God has placed tools and opportunities in your hands, and with the right guidance, you can turn them into influence, impact, and income.
Right now, there’s an unprecedented opportunity for YOU to share the gospel online.
